Job Description
Rocket Farm Restaurants is a renowned hospitality group that thrives on a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and care, not only toward its guests but within its own team members as well. This deep-rooted philosophy, "We serve the person who is serving the guest," fuels the company's mission and day-to-day operations, exemplifying how employees support one another to create an exceptional dining experience. This ethos isn’t merely exhibited on the restaurant floor; it begins in the kitchen, ensuring that every team member feels valued and respected, which inevitably reflects in the superior service guests receive. Joining Rocket Farm Restaurants means becoming part of a workplace that prioritizes ethical treatment, collaboration, and heartfelt service.
Superica Dunwoody, one of Rocket Farm's distinguished venues, offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Tex-Mex culture and cuisine in an inviting Old West-inspired atmosphere. It’s a vibrant hub ideal for brunch, lunch, and dinner, where guests relish authentic flavors alongside refreshing margaritas. Superica isn't just about great food—it’s a lifestyle, and the restaurant serves as a gathering place for friends and families from all walks of life, strengthening community bonds through food and tradition.
The role of Assistant General Manager at Superica Dunwoody is pivotal and dynamic, designed for a driven leader ready to "steer the ship" and sustain high performance in restaurant operations. Acting as the right hand to the General Manager—or taking the helm in their absence—the Assistant General Manager is entrusted with oversight of all operational facets. This includes managing seating arrangements to optimize guest flow, implementing menu changes to boost sales while maintaining high service standards, and responding proactively to guest needs to guarantee an outstanding dining experience. This leadership position demands a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on management, with a focus on developing the team through effective training and motivation. Candidates with at least five years of progressive restaurant experience, including two years in a management role, will find this opportunity both challenging and rewarding.
The position offers a competitive salary range from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, dependent on experience, supplemented by a generous quarterly bonus program. Eligibility for full benefits begins just 30 days after employment, including major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, ensuring that the health and well-being of employees and their families are well supported. Beyond these foundational benefits, Rocket Farm Restaurants fosters a nurturing and ethical work environment, emphasizing career growth, work-life balance, and employee recognition. Team members enjoy dynamic performance-based raises and promotions, paid time off including parental and childbirth recovery leave, significant long-term retention bonuses, and paid time off on major holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Employees also benefit from a generous 50-percent discount across all Rocket Farm Restaurants located in Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park, enriching their personal dining experiences. The company values continuous learning and professional development, offering specialized leadership classes through Rocket Farm University, alongside personalized support for career advancement. Employees can further engage in mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees, reinforcing the company’s commitment to fostering leadership and a secure workplace.
Rocket Farm Restaurants is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to abiding by federal employment laws and ensuring fair treatment of all applicants. Joining their team means becoming part of a unique, supportive culture committed to excellence in hospitality and community spirit.
