Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
  • State of Utah food handler's permit
  • Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as well as give direction to prep cooks, as needed
  • Attention to detail and conscientiousness regarding hygiene and cleanliness
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30 pounds) and withstand long hours on your feet
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Flexibility to work around road closures, interlodges, tram closures, and other unforeseen obstacles that come with working at 11,000ft

Job Duties

  • Prep station to levels and standards as is set by Executive Chef and in accordance with restaurant guidelines
  • Own station: anticipate its needs, keep organized, keep fresh, work with a sense of urgency
  • Assist in creation of Daily Chef's Corner special dish
  • Follow sanitation policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Assist in preparation and execution of after-hours catered events including buffets, plate ups and stations
  • Dispose of trash, recycling, broken glassware and fryer oil in accordance with restaurant guidelines
  • Break down and clean front line and kitchen in accordance with restaurant guidelines daily in a timely manner
