As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role within the company framework by ensuring that the raw materials and finished products meet or exceed strict quality standards. This includes testing aggregates used at production sites for moisture content, particle size distribution, and sieving parameters to guarantee compliance with specifications. After concrete production, you will conduct a series of quality control assessments including measurement of concrete temperature, slump, unit weight, air content, and yield. These tests are vital to verifying that project-specific requirements and customer specifications are fully satisfied.

Additionally, your responsibilities will extend to monitoring the quality and consistency of concrete at construction sites before placement, ensuring optimal performance and durability. Effective communication with operations, dispatch, and engineering staff is essential to report your findings promptly and to collaborate closely in resolving any issues related to material quality or placement techniques. The role emphasizes both technical proficiency and customer service as you engage directly with clients and engineering teams to support project success.

The position requires meticulous attention to detail as you will be responsible for calibrating production equipment, sampling and testing raw materials, and maintaining records such as daily journals and sample reports. Maintaining cleanliness and proper calibration of your testing equipment is key to reliable results.
