This part-time, non-management Housekeeping role within The Ritz-Carlton’s housekeeping and laundry department focuses on maintaining the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and verifying room availability reports, managing room status discrepancies, prioritizing room cleaning schedules, and coordinating seamlessly with multiple departments, including Engineering, Front Desk, and Laundry. An essential part of the role includes updating room statuses for departing guests and handling 'Do Not Disturb' room lists, ensuring rooms are cleaned promptly and efficiently. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts are highly valued in this position.

Additionally, the role involves various administrative duties such as preparing and distributing assignment sheets, completing housekeeping paperwork, and documenting any maintenance or safety issues. The person in this role will also uphold The Ritz-Carlton’s rigorous safety policies, participate in relevant training and certifications, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the hotel’s standards. Engaging with guests and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner, resolving discrepancies constructively, and contributing positively to the team and guest experience are fundamental expectations.
