The Summer Attendant role is an exciting opportunity for energetic individuals eager to contribute to the City of Largo’s mission of providing superior services that inspire community pride. Summer Attendants assist with various activities such as setting up and tearing down for classes and events, monitoring open gym activities and fitness centers, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation across the facility. They also serve as party hosts for rentals, guard aquatic slides, and provide food service at concession stands. This role requires individuals who are enthusiastic, dependable, and possess excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere that supports community engagement.

Job Requirements

  • certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) first aid within six months
  • experience working in recreation or fitness facility preferred
  • experience in recreation or childcare programs preferred

  • valid driver's license for van driving
