We are currently seeking a highly motivated and responsible Food Runner Supervisor to join our team. This role is central to the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining service, acting as the crucial link between the front of house and back of house teams. The Food Runner Supervisor will ensure that food orders are communicated accurately and efficiently, cooked in the correct sequence, and presented impeccably to our guests. This leadership position involves overseeing food runners, coordinating timely delivery of orders, and upholding strict safety and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen.

The successful candidate will be expected to follow opening and closing procedures meticulously, maintain proper food temperatures, and ensure the neatness and cleanliness of all work areas, including kitchen shelves, walls, floors, and drains. They will also be responsible for handling kitchen equipment safely to prevent damage and injuries and enforcing company guidelines regarding appearance and uniform standards. This role requires a proactive team player who takes pride in excellent food preparation and service delivery, ensuring a positive and seamless dining experience for every guest. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality, the Food Runner Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting both kitchen staff and front-line service personnel in a collaborative environment.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Communicate orders and information between the front of house and back of house while ensuring food is cooked in the correct order and presented correctly to guests
  • Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation
  • Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and items are accurately delivered
  • Take responsibility for safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including shelves, walls, floors and drains
  • Participate as a team player with responsibilities related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product
  • Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury
  • Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Lead the food runners and coordinate accurate delivery of orders
