Delaware North is currently hiring seasonal Dishwashers to join their dynamic team at Comerica Park. This seasonal opportunity offers an hourly wage ranging from $14.70 to $15.70 and provides flexible shift options including evenings, days, weekends, and event-specific schedules. The Dishwasher role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment, ensuring that all kitchenware, equipment, and serving utensils meet health and sanitation standards. Team members will utilize dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods to sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and flatware. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and teamwork, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Dishwashers also play an important part in waste management by removing trash and cleaning garbage cans, contributing to the operational efficiency of kitchen areas. The role demands physical stamina, with responsibilities including carrying items up to 35 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and exposure to variable temperatures. Job Requirements
- Must be able to carry up to 35 lbs, placing items above and below head height
- Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms
- Exposed to variable temperatures, often have hands immersed in water

Job Duties
- Using hands or a dishwasher to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items, ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards
- Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Clean work area, including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, keeping the kitchen wares storage organised
- Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, as well as clean and sanitize the garbage cans
