The Suite Attendant role at Oak View Group is essential in providing an exceptional guest experience within the Suites areas of OVG-managed venues. The Suite Attendant acts as the primary liaison between guests and the venue's hospitality services, ensuring guests receive attentive and personalized service during events. The Suite Attendant will assist in setting up food and beverage service areas according to specific pre-orders and ensure all suites are properly prepared prior to the start of an event.

They are tasked with overseeing the service of beverages, including alcohol, which requires checking IDs to verify age compliance and recognizing guests who may be intoxicated. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage or customer service
  • Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by local laws
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Basic math skills for transaction handling

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a food and beverage or customer service role
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory

Job Duties

  • Assist setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based upon pre-order
  • Ensure all assigned suites are set prior to event based upon communication received of orders
  • Organize and prepare events in assigned locations
  • Assist in closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing
  • Monitor and maintain food quality
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, uphold safety and sanitation standards, ensure a positive atmosphere for team members and guests
  • Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition fulfilling
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
  • Supervise the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, and check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement
  • Observe guests to respond to any additional requests
  • Ensure suites have all necessary serving ware
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • Maintain excellent attendance
  • Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event
  • Recognize guests that are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol to such individuals
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
