Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit upon hire
  • Must attend all ASM Global Alcohol and Policy Training Classes
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods
  • Must pass credit and background checks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years serving experience
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit upon hire
  • Must attend all ASM Global Alcohol and Policy Training Classes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good with people
  • Ability to handle high stress situations
  • Ability to read and understand English

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
  • Serve alcoholic beverages appropriately consistent with company standards
  • Answer guest questions about food, beverages, and facilities accurately and in a friendly manner
  • Perform side work during non-busy hours
  • Speak to guests with enthusiasm at all times
  • Develop relationships with guests
  • Provide the highest level of service in accordance with company standards
  • Identify food orders when ready and deliver items to tables timely
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Communicate with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Report to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready
  • Maintain professional relationships with coworkers
  • Follow checklists and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area
  • Perform duties as assigned
  • Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information
  • Constantly increase knowledge of food, beverages, and services
  • Ensure guests have a positive and memorable experience
  • Responsible for sanitation, organization, and proper food handling
  • Prepare work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing according to standards
