Job Requirements
- Available to work part-time during office hours Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm
- Ability to manage multiple phone lines and communicate clearly
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive church information
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Familiarity with church structure and ministries preferred
- Willingness to uphold and represent the church’s values consistently
- Reliable and punctual

- Exhibit a growing and mature relationship with Jesus Christ
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and personal initiative
- Self-aware, humble, and teachable
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Understand and adhere to confidentiality of the position
- Maintain a knowledge of church ministries and services to effectively direct inquiries and support congregational needs
- A member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church or willing and able to become a member
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors, members, and guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Handle diverse phone and in-person requests, providing accurate information and ensuring timely follow-up
- Perform other related duties that may benefit the church as directed by the Network and Systems Administrator or Executive leadership
