Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years' experience as a Commis Tournant in a high-volume kitchen or combined skills and education providing required skills
  • Fluent in English with efficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience preparing breakfast and brunch
  • Ability to execute recipes involving all phases
  • Ability to prepare dishes consistently according to chef's specifications
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Knowledge of sauces and cooking techniques
  • Ability to stand for long periods and withstand high temperatures
  • Ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs
  • Certification from the New York State Department of Health

Job Qualifications
