Job Duties
- Assist with preparing and portioning food according to established menus and guidelines
- Serve meals to students in a friendly, efficient manner
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow all food-handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving areas, and cafeteria spaces
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment as needed
- Set up and break down serving lines and food stations
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and district nutrition policies
- Assist with inventory, storage, and organization of food and supplies
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and school personnel
- Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
