Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work at least three days per week Monday through Friday
- reliable transportation to work locations in Hudsonville and Jenison districts
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations
- basic math skills for cash handling
- ability to follow safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to work as needed on short notice
Job Qualifications
- Basic food preparation knowledge
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- technology proficiency including computers, email, internet, and point-of-sale cash register
- problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- ability to meet strict deadlines
- good teamwork and communication skills
- enjoy working with students
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve nutritious and attractive meals
- assist with meal production as directed
- maintain and apply all safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards and practices in all food service areas as required by federal, state, local and district regulations and policies
- operate production equipment and dishwashing equipment
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations
- cash handling
- other duties as assigned by supervisor
