Substitute Cook

Our school district comprises elementary, middle, and high schools where the nutritional needs of students are a top priority. As a substitute cook, you will play a crucial role in supporting cafeteria operations on days when school is in session, ensuring that students receive delicious, well-prepared meals in a timely and efficient manner.

Substitute Cooks provide vital support to the main kitchen staff and help maintain smooth food service operations. You’ll need to be physically capable since the job requires a moderate degree of physical stamina, including the ability to lift items up to 50 pounds. Working conditions involve standing for extended periods and active engagement in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
