The current opportunity is for a substitute custodian position located at the East Professional Center. This role involves essential custodial services to maintain cleanliness and order within school facilities. Custodians play a critical role in supporting the learning environment by ensuring classrooms and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The position pays $14.00 per hour and operates within the substitute job family, offering employment flexibility. Responsibilities include general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, washing furniture, operating cleaning machinery, applying floor finishes, and performing wall washing and furniture movement as needed. Under the direction of the custodian, the substitute custodian assists in maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of the building.

Candidates for this role should possess good attendance and punctuality, with experience in cleaning preferred but not mandatory. They must be able to travel between multiple school sites on both the east and west sides of Cleveland. Physical demands of the position require walking, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds, consistent with school or office environments.
