The Barista position at UVU Starbucks is an exciting opportunity for a current UVU student to join a collaborative, fast-paced team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Starbucks, the Barista is responsible for serving UVU students, staff, and faculty by preparing beverages that adhere to Starbucks Corporation recipes and customer preferences. This role demands attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently during the business hours, which run Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends off. As a representative of both UVU Bookstore and Starbucks, the Barista must ensure every cup served meets the high standards expected by Starbucks, contributing positively to the overall customer experience on campus.

This position is designed for individuals who are committed to quality, customer satisfaction, and teamwork. The Barista will be responsible not only for beverage preparation but also for handling payments accurately through cash, credit card, or phone transactions, maintaining strict compliance with food safety and product freshness guidelines, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
