As a Certified Employee-Owned Company, US Colleges offers a dynamic and engaging work environment where both full-time and part-time colleagues enjoy competitive benefits, including a generously matched 401(k) plan. The organization's mission focuses on delivering quality education and comprehensive support services to help students achieve their professional goals and succeed in their respective fields.
The role of Student Services Coordinator at US Colleges is pivotal in ensuring an exceptional student experience from enrollment to program completion. This position functions as the central hub of campus operations, playing a critical role in supporting students, faculty, and staff through a wide range of responsibilities. Key duties include managing the day-to-day activities of the Welcome Center and front desk, which serves as the first point of contact for students, visitors, and campus personnel. The Coordinator is responsible for answering incoming calls, managing walk-ins, and maintaining organized systems for communication, scheduling, and overall campus coordination.
This role requires active collaboration with various departments such as Education, Externship Services, and campus leadership to foster a seamless and high-quality student environment. In addition to administrative tasks, the Student Services Coordinator develops and implements campus-wide initiatives including student onboarding, orientation sessions, and events. The Coordinator takes ownership of organizing and executing all campus events such as graduations, recognition ceremonies, and other student engagement activities, maintaining an annual events calendar to streamline planning and execution.
A significant aspect of the role includes managing certification exams and student licensure requirements. The Coordinator administers national certification exams regularly, provides support for licensure compliance, and hosts informative workshops to assist students throughout their academic journey. Other daily responsibilities include facilitating student access to tutoring, open labs, and learning resources, as well as managing campus inventory such as uniforms, books, and classroom supplies.
Communication with students is a vital part of the role, which involves providing updates about payment reminders, answering inquiries, and assisting with the collection of registration fees and other payments. The Coordinator also ensures compliance with relevant federal and state laws, accreditor standards, and institutional policies, guaranteeing that the campus environment adheres to strict regulatory frameworks.
This position demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, along with strong problem resolution and event coordination capabilities. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms and possess experience in administration, student services, or customer service. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented setting and are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive campus community. The opportunity presents a rewarding career path for those passionate about making a positive impact in students' lives and contributing to a mission-driven educational institution.
