Working under the direction of the Manager of Starbucks and in partnership with the UVU Bookstore, the Barista serves students, staff, and faculty by preparing beverages according to Starbucks' official recipes and customer preferences. The workweek includes Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends off, making it a suitable job for students. Responsibilities encompass beverage preparation, cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and inviting retail environment. The position requires adherence to hygiene and safety protocols including product date tagging, regular cleaning, and food safety compliance as mandated by possessing a valid Food Handler's permit.
