Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (50% of the time)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- Strong customer service orientation
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to follow cash handling procedures
- Willingness to adhere to the uniform dress code
- Use of .edu email address for application if still a student
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or barista experience is beneficial
- Ability to prepare specialty coffee beverages following precise recipes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Basic math skills required for cash handling
- Capability to maintain a clean and organized work area
Job Duties
- Brew barista coffee along with flavor of the day coffee
- Make specialty drinks to order following all Parkhurst recipes
- Adhere to all cash handling procedures
- Advertise the merchandise area using Barista signage and other approved materials
- Maintain an open line of communication with management informing them of products and supplies needed
- Follow the uniform dress code
- Assist fellow team members at every opportunity
- Stand and/or walk for 50% of time
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
- Frequently lift up to 10 lbs
