Job Description

ABS Kids is a leading provider of applied behavior analysis (ABA) services dedicated to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. The company focuses on creating meaningful "wow moments" for clients by helping them acquire new skills and reach important developmental milestones through personalized therapy programs. Known for its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ABS Kids fosters a culture where all individuals' unique stories and backgrounds are respected and celebrated. The company emphasizes a collaborative approach with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and families to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that enhances the lives of children with autism.

At ABS Kids, the Student Analyst role offers a unique opportunity for individuals pursuing or holding BCBA certification to develop practical experience while receiving strong educational support. This position is ideal for those who want to make a lasting difference in the lives of children with autism by implementing individualized behavior plans under expert guidance. Student Analysts work part-time onsite at ABS Kids centers or in home settings, engaging directly with children to monitor behaviors, collect data, and support skill development. ABS Kids encourages professional growth by providing training, exam preparation, and opportunities for career advancement through their LAUNCH career path milestones that offer bonuses, hourly increases, and promotion eligibility.

This role is designed to support candidates who are currently enrolled in or have completed Masters of ABA coursework or those who have completed course sequences toward BCaBA certification. ABS Kids values the experiential learning aspect of this position and aids Student Analysts by guiding them through supervision hours required for certification maintenance and advancement. The compensation package includes a competitive hourly wage based on RBT experience ranging around $26.00 per hour, a $1,000 bonus after 60 days of employment, mileage reimbursement, paid drive time, and premium pay for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, the company offers an extensive benefits package including paid time off, a 401(k) plan with company match, free continuing education, and wellness resources such as financial advice and counseling support.

The role demands physical stamina and emotional commitment, as Student Analysts often work one-on-one with children to teach essential life skills such as motor coordination, personal hygiene, potty training, and social-emotional competencies. Providing a safe and respectful environment is critical, as is the ability to collect accurate data and collaborate closely with BCBAs to tailor interventions effectively. This position is an excellent fit for compassionate individuals eager to learn and grow in the applied behavior analysis field while making a tangible impact in children's lives. With supportive mentors, comprehensive benefits, and a dynamic work environment, ABS Kids offers a fulfilling career path for emerging ABA professionals dedicated to improving outcomes for children with autism.
