With a rich heritage spanning over 100 years, Weyerhaeuser has built a strong reputation grounded in expertise, ingenuity, and commitment to sustainability. The company focuses on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that rewards results and encourages continuous growth and creativity among its employees. At Weyerhaeuser, safety, integrity, citizenship, and innovation are core values that drive every aspect of the business. This commitment extends to offering competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and meaningful career development opportunities that empower employees to build rewarding professional paths within the company.

Join Weyerhaeuser’s Product Engineering team and become an integral part of a dynamic group passionate about developing engineered wood products that are used in real structures across North America. This role offers the opportunity to work from the concept stage through to manufacturing and field application, providing a comprehensive understanding of the entire product lifecycle. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with experienced engineers on solving real-world challenges related to structural analysis, customer support in the field, code approvals, and new product development. Your work will help shape the future of engineered wood through innovation and sustainability-focused solutions.

Key responsibilities include developing design tools, enhancing technical literature, and working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure production-ready solutions that meet quality standards. You will gain valuable exposure to laboratory testing, building codes such as IBC, IRC, NDS, and ASCE, as well as participate in plant audits to maintain product quality. This role is ideal for curious, proactive engineers who enjoy solving complex problems with precision and take pride in impactful work. Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to fostering a safety-first culture and continuous improvement are essential in this position.

Weyerhaeuser offers a highly supportive work environment that nurtures career growth by providing access to experienced colleagues, comprehensive training, and exposure across all phases of product development. Employees benefit from working in an innovative and sustainability-driven industry that is actively shaping how buildings are designed and constructed. The company targets a salary range of $69,300 to $113,500 based on experience and skills, and offers participation in an annual merit-increase program as well as a competitive Annual Incentive Program with a cash bonus targeting 5 to 7 percent of base pay.

This role is not only a technical opportunity but also a chance to contribute to an organization committed to inclusion, equity, and fostering a workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging and purpose.
