The Project Director role at Lemartec is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic oversight and management of multiple projects across separate locations throughout the U.S. This role entails leading a team of senior project managers, project managers, field staff, and support personnel to deliver projects that meet rigorous standards for quality, safety, budget, and schedule. The Project Director is the primary liaison between customers and Lemartec management, ensuring effective communication, resolving issues, and driving project success from inception through contract close-out. By managing project teams, resources, budgets, and schedules, the Project Director guarantees that deliverables meet technical, contractual, and company expectations.

This position requires extensive travel, up to 100% of the time, to support projects in diverse geographic locations and offers a dynamic work environment for professionals passionate about infrastructure development. The Project Director plays a critical role in developing and implementing project execution plans, managing financial performance, overseeing safety and environmental compliance, and fostering a high-performance project team culture. Responsibilities also include strategic business development support, such as developing proposal strategies, participating in contract negotiations, and cultivating long-term client relationships.

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in managing large-scale projects, including design-build work, with budgets exceeding $250 million. Proficiency in project management software like Primavera P6 and Procore, construction accounting software such as Viewpoint Vista or Sage 300 CRE, and advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential. The position also demands excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities along with a high degree of professionalism and work ethic. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
