The Sourcing Manager role at HelloFresh is a pivotal position within the Procurement team, focusing on strategic sourcing to enhance the company’s cost structure, product quality, and supply chain reliability. This full-time position offers a competitive salary, with pay ranges specified for New York ($102,000-$138,000 USD) and Colorado ($95,000-$129,000 USD). Reporting into the procurement leadership, the Sourcing Manager will drive innovation by supporting new product development and managing third-party production vendors. Key responsibilities include ideation and onboarding of SKUs, vendor selection and relationship management, price negotiations, contract management, capacity planning, and overseeing end-to-end sourcing processes.

This role directly impacts the company’s bottom-line profitability through strategic supplier and network management, balancing financial performance and operational excellence. The Sourcing Manager will partner cross-functionally with product, culinary, operations, commercial, finance, legal, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project delivery and decision-making. The role requires autonomous execution with strong strategic thinking, capable of managing complex problems and navigating uncertainty independently.

An essential part of the position is the continuous improvement of sourcing standards, workflows, and category management to optimize supplier performance and cost competitiveness. The ideal candidate will be recognized as a subject matter expert in their category and proactively mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
