Job Description

We are a leading company in the food and third-party manufacturing industry, committed to innovation, quality, and cost efficiency. Our Procurement team plays a crucial role in supporting the business's growth by managing supplier relationships, optimizing sourcing strategies, and ensuring supply chain resilience. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment that values strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. With competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits, we aim to attract top talent who are passionate about making a significant impact in the procurement and supply chain space. Our employment opportunities come with attractive pay ranges depending on location, with the New York range between 102,000 and 138,000 USD and the Colorado range between 95,000 and 129,000 USD.

As a Sourcing Manager in our Procurement team, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of developing and executing sourcing strategies that improve cost structures, product quality, and supply chain reliability. Your role is central to driving innovation through new product development and managing third-party production products and vendors. You will oversee critical processes such as SKU ideation and onboarding, vendor selection, price negotiations, contract management, capacity planning, and budgetary planning. Your strategic approach will continuously seek to improve our end-to-end sourcing operations, aligning with the company’s growth objectives and financial targets.

In this role, you will be a key player in shaping how the business interacts with its supplier base, directly influencing bottom-line profitability. You will execute defined sourcing strategies that support scalable third-party manufacturing and supplier networks, identifying and mitigating operational capability gaps. By applying your industry knowledge, you will manage supplier segmentations and performance frameworks aimed at enhancing quality, service, and cost competitiveness.

You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Culinary, Operations, and Commercial departments, to unlock supplier and manufacturing capabilities for new product concepts. From initial ideation through successful commercialization, you will lead the strategic sourcing process for new product development, balancing customer experience, operational complexity, and profitability when onboarding new SKUs and suppliers.

Your responsibilities also include managing sourcing contributions to annual business planning, implementing cost optimization initiatives, executing supplier negotiations, and leading commercial negotiations and contract management for mid to high-value agreements. You will prioritize long-term supplier partnerships alongside financial savings to ensure sustainable business growth.

Supply chain resilience and risk management are critical components of your role. You will proactively execute risk management and supply continuity strategies, hold suppliers accountable through performance metrics and service level agreements, and resolve day-to-day operational, quality, and supply conflicts promptly.

Process excellence and data analytics will be part of your function as you drive continuous improvements in sourcing processes, supplier onboarding frameworks, and category management guidelines. Leveraging data-driven insights will inform your strategic decision-making and enhance sourcing operations.

Working autonomously, you will manage the scope, timeline, and execution of both short- and long-term strategic sourcing projects, aligning daily sourcing decisions with broader department strategies and corporate objectives. Your ability to manage uncertainty and develop actionable solutions to complex problems will be essential.

You will actively collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, and FSQA teams, influencing project outcomes and decisions through data, business insight, and strong relationships despite lacking direct authority. As a subject matter expert within your category, you will take ownership of your career and dedicate time to mentoring junior team members while providing critical feedback to ensure technical soundness across the team.

Success in this role means delivering projects autonomously and on schedule, optimizing supplier networks to consistently meet quality, service, and cost metrics, achieving financial targets and cost optimization goals, driving continuous process iterations, and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships that accelerate decision-making. This position requires at least four years of relevant experience, an undergraduate degree or equivalent, proficiency in Google Suite (especially Google Sheets), and flexibility to travel up to 20 percent based on business needs. Competitive salaries and benefits, including parental leave, medical plans with zero premium, employee discounts, and a collaborative work environment, make this an excellent opportunity for dedicated sourcing professionals.
