Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping, storeroom, inventory, laundry, warehouse, hotel, or hospitality roles preferred
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accurate supply counts and perform inventory audits
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and shifts as required
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, storeroom, inventory, laundry, warehouse, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accurate supply counts and follow inventory procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and support changing operational needs
- Basic computer, inventory system, or checklist experience preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping supplies, guest room amenities, linen, terry, and cleaning products preferred
- Ability to safely handle cleaning supplies and equipment
- Must be dependable, punctual, and service-oriented
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and business-demand periods
Job Duties
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper stock levels in housekeeping storerooms, supply closets, linen rooms, and assigned storage areas
- Receive, organize, issue, and track housekeeping supplies, linens, terry, amenities, cleaning products, paper goods, equipment, and other department materials
- Replenish housekeeping carts, supply closets, and storage areas according to par levels and operational needs
- Assist with inventory counts, supply audits, par checks, and tracking of department materials
- Monitor supply levels and communicate shortages, overstock, damaged items, or ordering needs to housekeeping leadership
- Ensure supplies are stored safely, properly labeled, and rotated according to hotel standards
- Maintain accurate records, logs, checklists, or inventory documentation as assigned
- Distribute supplies to room attendants, housepersons, public area attendants, and other housekeeping colleagues
- Support linen and terry movement, sorting, organization, and distribution as needed
- Inspect housekeeping equipment and report damaged, missing, or unsafe items to leadership
- Assist with receiving deliveries and transporting supplies to designated areas
- Maintain safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Support guest room readiness by ensuring housekeeping teams have timely access to required supplies and amenities
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, laundry, purchasing, engineering, and other hotel departments
- Follow all hotel safety, security, sanitation, chemical handling, and storage procedures
- Keep back-of-house areas, shelves, carts, and storage spaces clean, orderly, and free of hazards
- Perform other housekeeping support duties as assigned
