The responsibilities of the Store Visual Merchandiser include implementing visual strategies that align with the company's goals, executing appealing merchandising displays, coordinating placement of furniture, lighting, and accessories while managing seasonal product transitions. The role requires continual remerchandising of displays, signage, and sales areas to maximize product sell-through and undertaking store recovery processes throughout the day. The Visual Merchandiser also maintains the store’s appearance in conjunction with warehouse and housekeeping staff, overseeing aspects such as lighting, fixtures, paint, and flooring repairs when necessary. Coordination with store management is crucial to ensure the store's visual needs and product flow are met efficiently.

This role demands collaboration with warehouse associates to receive and organize incoming merchandise, ensuring correct product tagging and placement. Additionally, adherence to company visual merchandising standards and audio/visual communication protocols are imperative to maintain consistency across the brand. The Visual Merchandiser keeps up with product knowledge, current fashion trends, and promotional activities, mentoring store staff on merchandising fundamentals to foster a team environment that supports the company's visual standards. Candidates for this position should be legally authorized to work in the US, at least 18 years old, and preferably have two years of retail visual merchandising experience, particularly in home furnishings. Physical requirements include the ability to regularly lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds and transport loads up to 100 pounds with or without accommodation. An associate degree in interior design, merchandising, or equivalent work experience is preferred. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, maintain reliable attendance, and thrive in a team-oriented environment are essential attributes for success in this role.
