The company is headquartered in Westlake, Ohio and is deeply committed to advancing its operations through cutting-edge technology and sustainability initiatives, including innovative alternative energy projects. TA’s mission is to create a welcoming and dependable environment for all its customers, ensuring every traveler is returned to the road better than when they arrived.
As a member of the TA team, individuals are given the opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive atmosphere that values their ideas and contributions. TA offers a broad range of career paths in an evolving industry, making it an ideal workplace for those who want to build a meaningful and sustainable career in the travel and transportation services sector.
The role of Customer Service Parking Attendant is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of TA’s Reserve-It parking program. This position focuses on providing exceptional service to professional drivers who rely on reserved parking at TA locations. Attendants greet customers, assist with arrival procedures, provide parking guidance, and offer general information to enhance the overall experience. Beyond direct customer interaction, the role includes responsibilities such as ensuring cleanliness of parking lots and fuel islands, following operational protocols, and maintaining safety standards. This role demands excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
The Customer Service Parking Attendant position not only supports TA's commitment to customer satisfaction but also contributes to a safe and orderly environment, reflecting the company’s dedication to quality service. Employees in this role are expected to prioritize operational and customer needs while fostering strong teamwork with both management and co-workers. This position offers a dynamic work environment with ample opportunities for advancement, backed by a company culture that values dedication and a solid work ethic.
COMPENSATION for this role is hourly and will vary based on experience and responsibilities. TA is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Team members enjoy a comprehensive selection of benefits and a welcoming workplace environment that celebrates individual differences while bringing people together around a shared mission. The physical demands of this role are moderate and include varied movements such as standing, walking, kneeling, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Working conditions may involve exposure to outdoor weather, noise, fumes, and other elements typical of a fast-paced travel center environment.
