Job Description
Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain dedicated to crafting the world's finest coffee while fostering meaningful moments of connection among its customers and partners. Established as a leader in the specialty coffee industry, Starbucks operates thousands of stores worldwide, creating a warm and welcoming environment where every cup of coffee sparks connection and inspiration. Starbucks is committed not only to delivering quality products but also to nurturing community, culture, and sustainability within its stores and beyond. This commitment is reflected in their focus on partner development, ensuring that employees grow professionally and personally in a supportive environment that values diversity and inclusion.
As a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining this mission by managing a vibrant store environment where team partners feel empowered and customers receive exceptional service. This position requires a unique blend of leadership, operational management, and customer engagement skills. Beyond running day-to-day operations, you will inspire and mentor your team to create joyful moments for customers while driving sales performance in a dynamic retail setting. The role offers the opportunity to influence the community by building lasting relationships and creating an inclusive space where people feel valued and welcomed.
The position is full-time and may require working variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks values its partners’ well-being and growth, offering industry-leading benefits to support you and your family. Employees enjoy medical, dental, and vision insurance, various life and disability coverages, paid parental leave, and vacation benefits beginning from the date of hire. Additionally, Starbucks promotes work-life balance with sick time accrual, paid holidays, and personal days.
Starbucks also invests in the educational advancement of its partners by providing 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor's degree through Arizona State University’s online program. You will have access to financial well-being tools, retirement plans with employer matching, company stock purchase programs, and other incentives to support your long-term success. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment and creating an inclusive workplace that respects individual differences and protects the rights of all employees.
Joining Starbucks as a coffeehouse leader means becoming part of a global community dedicated to craftsmanship, connection, and growth. You will be encouraged to lead with professionalism and heart, enabling your team to deliver the Starbucks Experience that customers expect worldwide. This role is ideal for those who possess strong organizational skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for coaching and mentoring others. If you have at least three years of retail or customer service management experience or have served four or more years in the US Military, combined with the desire to lead a team that creates meaningful experiences every day, Starbucks welcomes your application. Through this role, you will not only develop your leadership capabilities but also contribute to a company that values quality, community, and rewards dedication with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.
