Job Description
Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain dedicated to crafting the world's finest coffee, creating meaningful moments for customers one cup at a time. With a strong emphasis on quality, community, and connection, Starbucks has developed a loyal customer base and a reputation for excellence in the coffee industry. Founded in Seattle, Washington, Starbucks has grown into an international brand that not only serves premium coffee beverages but also fosters a warm and welcoming environment in every store. This commitment to customer experience and quality extends to how Starbucks values its employees. The company supports its partners (employees) with industry-leading benefits and professional growth opportunities, ensuring a rich work experience that encourages personal and career development. Starbucks is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, promotes inclusion, and offers accommodations to applicants with disabilities, reflecting its values of respect and fairness.
The role of a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks goes beyond managing daily operations; it is about spearheading a team that creates an atmosphere of connection and joy. If you are someone who appreciates quality, customer interaction, and team leadership, this position offers an outstanding opportunity to grow professionally while making a positive impact on your community. As a coffeehouse leader, you will be responsible for leading your team with craft and heart, ensuring each customer's experience is exceptional. This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset focused on sales, and a passion for coaching and mentoring team partners with a high level of professionalism. Embracing the opportunity to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, you will play an integral role in delivering the Starbucks experience that keeps customers coming back.
Starbucks invests in your growth journey through developmental experiences and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family. The company offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with basic and supplemental life insurance. Additional insurance options include short-term and long-term disability coverage. Starbucks also supports parents through paid parental leave and family expansion reimbursement. From day one, employees accrue paid vacation and sick time, in addition to holiday and personal days off. Financial wellness is addressed with access to a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching, a company stock purchase program, and financial planning tools. Education is also prioritized, with 100% tuition coverage for a bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program and resources for student loan management. Starbucks values work-life balance and provides backup care options and other resources. The company complies with state and local employment laws, ensuring fair treatment and supportive workplace policies. Compensation varies based on experience, location, knowledge, and internal equity, maintaining transparency and fairness.
Joining Starbucks means becoming part of a mission larger than coffee — creating a space where your community feels welcome, employees thrive, and every day presents a new chance to connect and inspire.
