Job Description
Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffeehouse industry, known for crafting the world's finest coffee with an unwavering commitment to quality, community, and connection. Established over four decades ago, Starbucks has grown into a beloved destination for people who seek more than just a cup of coffee — they come for the experience. The company's ethos is deeply rooted in creating a warm and welcoming environment where every customer feels valued, and every barista takes pride in fostering moments of joy and meaningful connection. Starbucks is not just a coffee shop, but a community hub, a place where people gather to share stories, celebrate milestones, or simply enjoy a moment of peace amidst their busy day. This renowned brand offers a culture that champions growth, inclusivity, and sustainability, attracting passionate individuals who believe in the power of coffee to bring people together.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Coffeehouse Leader to join our dynamic team. This role goes beyond traditional management; it is about inspiring and leading a team that crafts memorable experiences through exceptional customer service and quality craftsmanship. As a Coffeehouse Leader at Starbucks, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere that encourages connection among both customers and team members. You will lead by example, coaching and mentoring your team with a leadership style grounded in empathy, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the coffeehouse culture. This position offers a full-time opportunity with a salary that reflects multiple factors including your skills, experience, and geographic location. Starbucks invests heavily in the personal and professional development of its partners, providing innovative training programs and comprehensive benefits to support your growth journey.
Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing store operations, driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring the consistent delivery of the Starbucks Experience. You will leverage your strong organizational and interpersonal skills to solve problems efficiently while fostering a positive, inclusive work environment. Whether it's early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays, flexibility is vital as you manage varying shift schedules to meet business needs. We value entrepreneurial spirit and seek individuals with a sales-focused mindset who are passionate about leading teams to success. If you have a minimum of three years' retail or customer service management experience, or have served over four years in the US Military, along with a High School diploma or GED, you could be the ideal candidate for this position.
Joining Starbucks means gaining access to industry-leading benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, and various voluntary life and disability insurance options. Partners enjoy paid parental leave, family expansion reimbursement, and paid vacation from day one, along with sick leave, personal days, and eight paid holidays annually. Starbucks also supports your financial future through participation in a 401(k) plan with employer match, discounted company stock programs, and equity opportunities. Educational benefits are robust with 100% upfront tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program, student loan management resources, and additional development opportunities. Starbucks is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring equal employment opportunities and accommodating applicants with disabilities. Join us to lead a team that embraces quality, community, and connection in every cup and every interaction.
