Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffeehouse industry, renowned for crafting the world’s finest coffee and creating meaningful moments through a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Established with a vision to connect people and communities over a shared love of coffee, Starbucks has grown into a multinational corporation with thousands of locations worldwide. The company prides itself on not just selling coffee, but fostering a culture where every cup serves as a catalyst for connection, joy, and memorable experiences. Starbucks is committed to sustainability, social responsibility, and providing premium quality beverages, making it a beloved brand among customers and employees alike.

Joining Starbucks means becoming part of a team that values growth, leadership, and community. This role of coffeehouse leader is more than just managing a business; it is about leading with craft and heart to build a coffeehouse that feels like a second home to its community. As a coffeehouse leader, you will inspire and manage a team of passionate partners who are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering an environment where every guest feels valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment where coffee culture meets customer connection.

Starbucks invests significantly in the professional and personal growth of its partners. This role provides access to industry-leading benefits, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parental leave, and a robust retirement plan with employer matching. Beyond benefits, Starbucks offers an unparalleled educational opportunity through its College Achievement Plan, which covers 100% of tuition costs for a first-time bachelor’s degree earned online via Arizona State University. Additional perks include paid vacation time, sick leave, personal days, and participation in the Starbucks equity program. This role encourages entrepreneurial thinking with a focus on sales and team mentoring, where your leadership can directly influence the success and culture of the coffeehouse.

The coffeehouse leader is expected to possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills while demonstrating professional maturity in coaching and mentoring team partners. Candidates with prior retail or customer service management experience, or those with military service, will find this role aligns well with their skill set. The position demands the ability to work full-time with flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks fosters an inclusive environment welcoming all qualified applicants regardless of background and provides accommodations to individuals with disabilities. Join Starbucks to connect with something bigger and make an impact in a brand that believes people, quality, and value mean everything.
