The role of the Store Manager is critical to the successful operation of the seasonal store. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store’s function, including ensuring maximum sales and profitability by establishing and maintaining superior guest services and controlling expenses. The Store Manager holds full accountability for managing shrink, merchandising, inventory control, staffing, set-up, pack-up, and teardown operations. The role demands a hands-on leader who can execute day-to-day operations effectively while inspiring and supervising a team dedicated to achieving ambitious goals. The position requires a minimum age of 21 and a flexible schedule to accommodate the demands of the retail environment. Physical requirements are significant, involving 8 or more hours of standing and walking during shifts, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and the ability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is essential to succeed in this role, as the Store Manager must bring leadership skills and a solid understanding of retail store operations.
