Job Description
Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffeehouse industry, renowned for crafting the world’s finest coffee and creating warm, welcoming community spaces. Founded with a mission beyond just serving coffee, Starbucks is committed to fostering meaningful connections between people, making every cup an opportunity to spark joy and camaraderie. At its core, Starbucks emphasizes not only the quality of coffee but the experience of connection, ensuring its stores serve as welcoming hubs where community members feel valued and appreciated.
As a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks, your role transcends traditional management. You will lead a dedicated team that embodies the spirit of hospitality and craftsmanship, creating moments of connection and joy for every customer who walks through the door. This leadership position encourages a hands-on approach, combining operational expertise with a deep commitment to team development and community engagement. Starbucks values leaders who bring professional maturity, strong interpersonal skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive sales and foster a culture of collaboration and respect within their stores.
This full-time role demands dedication and flexibility, including the willingness to work variable hours such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks recognizes that leadership involves more than managing operations; it is about mentoring team partners, developing their potential, and contributing to an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. The company invests heavily in the growth journey of its partners, offering industry-leading benefits and opportunities for personal and professional development.
Starbucks partners benefit from comprehensive health insurance plans, dental and vision coverage, and life insurance options. The company also supports work-life balance through paid parental leave, paid vacation from the date of hire, sick time accrual, and paid holidays. Retirement planning is facilitated through a 401(k) plan with employer matching and a discounted stock purchase program. Educational growth is encouraged through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, which offers full tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program, supplemented by student loan management resources and other educational opportunities.
The compensation package offered will be competitive and based on factors including experience, skills, geographical location, and internal equity. Starbucks prides itself on equitable hiring practices and offers a work environment free from discrimination. The company is committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities and provides support throughout the application process.
Joining Starbucks means connecting with something bigger than just a coffee brand. It means becoming part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to enriching communities and empowering its partners. If you are passionate about leadership, customer service, and creating meaningful experiences, Starbucks invites you to apply today and embark on a fulfilling career journey.
