LOFT's philosophy centers on the belief that feeling like yourself is always in style, making it a brand beloved by everyday optimists who value comfort, style, and self-expression. The brand continuously strives to inspire its customers by offering a variety of clothing options designed to meet the needs of modern women balancing dynamic lifestyles.
Located within vibrant shopping environments like The Shops at River Park in Fresno, CA, LOFT channels its energy into supporting the careers and lives of its employees as well as its customers. Its welcoming store atmospheres are curated to not only provide exceptional shopping experiences but also promote community involvement and inclusivity. As a part of the Knitwell Group, LOFT benefits from a strong corporate backbone while maintaining a boutique feel that connects with its audience on a personal level.
The Store Manager role at LOFT is pivotal in spearheading the execution of the brand’s mission at a local level. This position involves leading both customer and associate experiences, ensuring a seamless and profitable business operation. The Store Manager cultivates a customer-focused environment that consistently delivers exceptional service and shopping experiences. Leadership duties include coaching associates to realize their full potential by using the brand’s behaviors to build genuine, lasting customer connections. Additionally, the role demands a strong focus on operational performance, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and engaging with the community through promotional events and philanthropic partnerships.
The Store Manager is also responsible for driving store profitability through strategic use of technology, budgeting, payroll management, and insightful analysis of performance reports. This comprehensive approach ensures that both short-term and long-term retail plans are effectively implemented. The position requires a proactive, action-oriented mindset capable of managing day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Employment for this position is full-time and regular, with a competitive hourly pay range of $25.90 to $32.35, reflecting the importance of the role in driving the store’s success. LOFT values diversity and equal employment opportunity, committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all associates feel welcome and engaged. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and holidays, and opportunities for bonuses and professional development. Passionate about community impact, LOFT extends its support for philanthropic partnerships, allowing employees to contribute meaningfully beyond the store environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in retail management or service industries, who bring a hospitality mindset and a strong business acumen. If you are an effective leader who excels in talent development, communication, technology proficiency, and strategic planning, LOFT offers an inspiring platform to build your career in a vibrant, growth-oriented environment.
