Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain known for crafting the world's finest coffee, fostering meaningful connections, and creating welcoming spaces for communities around the world. Founded in 1971, Starbucks has grown from a single store in Seattle's Pike Place Market to a leader in the coffee industry with thousands of locations across the globe. The company prides itself on its commitment to quality, ethical sourcing, and sustainable practices, striving to serve premium coffee beverages while supporting the communities it serves. Starbucks is more than just a place to grab coffee; it is a vibrant community hub where customers and partners come together to share moments of connection, creativity, and inspiration. This philosophy extends to how Starbucks values its employees—referred to as partners—ensuring they receive industry-leading benefits, opportunities for growth, and an inclusive environment where diversity thrives.

In the role of a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks, individuals take on much more than managing daily operations. This leadership position entails crafting an experience that goes beyond serving coffee to creating a warm and welcoming environment where every cup acts as a catalyst for joy and connection. A coffeehouse leader directs a team with heart and craft, mentoring and coaching partners to cultivate a culture of excellence, professionalism, and mutual respect. This role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset to excel in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. Leaders are entrusted with upholding operational standards, driving sales growth, managing customer experiences, and ensuring that every shift contributes to the overall mission of making Starbucks a place where communities feel valued and welcome.

This full-time position demands dedication, often requiring work hours that exceed 40 per week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks invests in the development journey of its partners, offering comprehensive training and educational opportunities such as 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program. Beyond professional growth, Starbucks provides extensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, and financial well-being tools. The company also offers support resources such as backup care and reimbursement for DACA.

Starbucks’ commitment to equal opportunity employment means that all qualified applicants will be considered regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status. The company also offers reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities to ensure an equitable hiring process. If you are seeking a leadership role within a company that prioritizes quality, community, and personal growth, Starbucks invites you to apply and become part of a team that makes a positive impact one cup and one meaningful moment at a time.
