Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffeehouse industry, dedicated to crafting the world’s finest coffee and creating meaningful moments of connection for customers every day. Founded in 1971 in Seattle, Washington, Starbucks has since grown into a beloved brand with thousands of stores worldwide. The company emphasizes quality, sustainability, and community engagement, continuously striving to provide an unparalleled coffee experience. Starbucks is not just a place to grab coffee but a warm and welcoming space where every cup sparks connection and joy. The company’s culture is built around empowerment, inclusion, and growth, making it an employer of choice across the retail and hospitality sectors.

Joining Starbucks means becoming part of a dynamic team that leads with craft and heart. The role of a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks goes beyond managing a business; it involves fostering an environment where team partners feel valued and customers experience genuine care and connection. This leadership position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about coffee and are eager to inspire and mentor their team to deliver exceptional service every day. Starbucks partners are recognized for their dedication to quality, community involvement, and creating a positive impact both inside and outside the store.

The coffeehouse leader plays a critical role in driving the success of the store by balancing operational excellence with people leadership. This includes overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards of product quality and customer service, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning and development. Leaders at Starbucks are empowered through developmental experiences and industry-leading benefits, with opportunities for personal and professional growth. The company values entrepreneurial talent and leadership maturity, seeking candidates who demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills along with a customer-focused mindset.

Employment with Starbucks offers a full-time schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic and vibrant nature of the retail environment. Compensation is competitive and based on factors such as experience, skills, and location, ensuring internal equity and fairness. Starbucks is committed to equal opportunity employment, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds and providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

The role is ideally suited for candidates with a minimum of three years in retail or customer service management or four or more years of U.S. Military service. Starbucks partners have access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, paid vacation starting from the date of hire, sick time, paid holidays, and personal days. Additionally, Starbucks offers educational benefits such as 100% tuition coverage for first-time bachelor’s degrees through Arizona State University’s online program, student loan management resources, and other learning opportunities. The company also promotes financial well-being with a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, stock programs, emergency savings incentives, and more.

Together, Starbucks and its coffeehouse leaders build thriving communities and create lasting relationships grounded in respect, shared values, and a commitment to excellence. If you are passionate about leadership, customer service, and coffee, and want to grow with a company that invests in your future, Starbucks welcomes your application. Connect with something bigger by joining Starbucks, where every day is an opportunity to make an impact and craft meaningful moments for your community.
