Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain renowned for its commitment to crafting high-quality coffee and creating meaningful experiences for its customers. Founded in 1971, Starbucks has grown from a single store in Seattle to a premier coffee brand with thousands of stores worldwide. The company stands out not only for its excellent coffee but also for its dedication to building warm, welcoming spaces where communities can come together. Starbucks emphasizes values such as inclusivity, connection, and personal growth, with a strong focus on fostering a positive and enriching workplace culture for its partners, or employees. As a leader within Starbucks, the role extends beyond typical management responsibilities to guiding a team that thrives on creating moments of joy and connection through the craft of coffee making.

The Coffeehouse Leader position at Starbucks is an opportunity to join a team passionate about quality and community impact. This full-time role requires a leader who can inspire and develop their team while managing daily operations efficiently. Working as a Coffeehouse Leader means you will be responsible for overseeing the store’s performance, leading by example in customer service, and ensuring your coffeehouse is a vibrant and welcoming environment for all customers. Starbucks values strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with an entrepreneurial mindset, to thrive in this sales-driven setting. As a leader, you will play a critical role in coaching and mentoring your team members, fostering growth and professional maturity among partners.

Starbucks is dedicated to partner development, offering a robust benefits package and numerous growth opportunities. This includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance options, paid parental leave, and paid time off from the date of hire. Starbucks also supports educational advancement through tuition coverage for a bachelor’s degree via the Starbucks College Achievement Plan and provides access to financial well-being tools and retirement plans. The company respects work-life balance and diversity, complying with all relevant employment laws and offering accommodations to ensure an inclusive environment for all partners.

If you have a minimum of three years’ retail or customer service management experience or have served four or more years in the U.S. Military, possess strong leadership skills, and hold at least a high school diploma or GED, Starbucks invites you to apply. The role requires flexibility to work variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks Coffee Company is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Join Starbucks and be a part of something bigger by contributing to a culture where people, quality, and value are at the heart of every cup and every relationship.
