Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain known for its commitment to quality, community, and creating welcoming spaces where customers can connect over a cup of coffee. With a presence in numerous countries, Starbucks has established itself as the world’s premier roaster and retailer of specialty coffee, offering a range of handcrafted beverages made with the finest ingredients. Beyond just serving coffee, Starbucks strives to craft meaningful moments one cup at a time, ensuring that every visit is a unique experience built around warmth, customer care, and quality. The company values its partners (employees) and invests heavily in their growth through comprehensive developmental experiences, industry-leading benefits, and supportive work environments that nurture career advancement and personal enrichment.

The role of a Coffeehouse Leader at Starbucks is a dynamic and rewarding leadership opportunity for passionate individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments. As a Coffeehouse Leader, you are not merely managing a business; you are inspiring and leading a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service, creating welcoming atmospheres, and building deep connections within the community. This role requires a balance of operational expertise, people leadership, and an entrepreneurial spirit aimed at driving sales and operational excellence. Daily responsibilities include overseeing store operations, mentoring and coaching team members, fostering an inclusive culture of respect and collaboration, and ensuring consistent execution of Starbucks standards in both product quality and customer experience.

In addition to providing an enriching career path, Starbucks offers a competitive salary that reflects job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic factors. Coffeehouse Leaders are eligible for a wide range of benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid parental leave, vacation time accrued from the first day of employment, and participation in the company’s 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. Starbucks also supports further education with 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program, as well as offering financial wellness tools, emergency savings incentives, and more. This position demands full-time availability, with flexibility to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure excellent customer service and smooth store operations.

Starbucks Coffee Company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. It welcomes candidates of all backgrounds and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities. This leadership role is ideal for individuals with retail or customer service management experience, or military veterans with transferable skills who are ready to bring leadership, organizational aptitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a customer-centric mindset to a vibrant, mission-driven company. Join Starbucks as a Coffeehouse Leader and connect with something bigger while making a meaningful impact every day in your community.
