Starbucks emphasizes quality, ethical sourcing, and innovation in coffee preparation, all while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers and partners alike.

Joining Starbucks means becoming part of a team that values personal growth, leadership development, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks, you will not just manage daily operations but will be pivotal in creating a space where every cup of coffee sparks connection and joy. This role requires someone who leads with both craft and heart, setting the tone for a positive team culture and a community-centered coffeehouse. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring partners (employees), ensuring operational excellence, and delivering excellent customer service. Your leadership will help build lasting relationships within the community and create an atmosphere that feels welcoming to all.

Starbucks invests in its partners' growth journey through various developmental experiences and industry-leading benefits. The company fosters an entrepreneurial spirit where team leaders can thrive in a sales-focused environment and develop strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Those with prior retail or customer service management experience, or veterans with four or more years of U.S. Military service, are particularly encouraged to apply. Starbucks seeks leaders who exhibit strong leadership qualities, professional maturity, and a passion for coaching and mentoring their team members.

Working at Starbucks requires a full-time commitment, often including more than 40 hours per week with variable shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the nature of the retail coffee business. The company values legal employment eligibility and appropriate documentation for all team members. Starbucks champions diversity and equal opportunity, with inclusive hiring practices that consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

As a Starbucks partner, you and your family can access comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with life insurance options. Partners also enjoy short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid parental leave, family expansion reimbursement, paid vacation from day one, sick leave accrual, paid holidays, and personal days. Financial wellness programs include a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching, discounted company stock programs, and emergency savings incentives. Starbucks also supports educational advancement through 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree via Arizona State University’s online program and offers student loan management resources. Additional perks include backup childcare and assistance with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) reimbursement.

Join Starbucks as a coffeehouse leader to connect with something bigger, grow as an individual, and make a positive impact with a company that values people, quality, and community.
