Founded in 1983 in Glendale, California, Panda Express has grown to become the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in America, featuring close to 2,800 locations worldwide. The company is deeply committed to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where employees are treated like family and are provided opportunities for both professional growth and personal development. Panda Express prides itself on its strong family values, commitment to community engagement, and its mission to deliver exceptional dining experiences through passionate and well-trained teams. This dedication not only resonates with customers but also with employees who want to grow and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
As a Store Manager at Panda Express, you will play a critical role in managing the overall operations of a single restaurant location. This is a leadership position that requires a balance of strategic management and hands-on involvement. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and directing the store's associates to meet financial goals while ensuring an excellent guest experience. You will lead by example, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with company standards, including food safety regulations. Understanding that success in this role requires comprehensive preparation, Panda Express offers an extensive paid Store Management Leadership Training program lasting eight or more weeks, along with ongoing mentorship and support from experienced leaders within the Panda community. This role demands flexibility, dedication, and a passion for developing others and exceeding customer expectations. Panda Express also places importance on workplace safety and accommodating individuals with disabilities to ensure an inclusive environment for all employees.
