Job Description

Panda Express, an industry leader in American Chinese cuisine, is a family-owned restaurant brand that has grown since its founding in Glendale, California in 1983 to become the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States. With close to 2,800 locations globally, Panda Express remains dedicated to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences, maintaining a strong commitment to its values of family, community, and employee development. The organization fosters an inclusive work environment where associates are inspired to grow both professionally and personally. This dedication is reflected in their comprehensive paid Store Management Leadership Training programs, mentorship opportunities, and the ongoing support they provide through their Panda community.

The Store Manager role at Panda Express is pivotal to the success of the restaurant. As the leader of a single store, the Store Manager is responsible for managing daily operations to meet financial goals while ensuring an excellent guest experience. This role involves hiring, training, and directing associates, overseeing store performance, and maintaining high standards in food safety and customer service. Managers at Panda Express are equipped for success through a structured leadership training program that lasts eight or more weeks. This training is designed to prepare managers to handle all aspects of store operations effectively and confidently.

Candidates can expect a vibrant, fast-paced work environment where adaptability and strong communication skills are essential. The Store Manager will work closely with their team to motivate and develop employees, resolve conflicts, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards. Additionally, flexibility is necessary as the role requires working weekends and availability to work in any store location within a 50-mile radius.
