Known for its dedication to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences, the company prides itself on a strong culture of family values, professional development, and commitment to its associates and communities. Panda Express is more than just a quick-service restaurant; it is a community where employees are inspired to better their lives and supported in their career growth through comprehensive training and mentorship programs.
The Store Manager role at Panda Express is a vital leadership position responsible for the overall operation of a single store. The selected candidate will take charge of hiring, managing, and directing the store associates to achieve financial goals while ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction. This position carries the accountability of making the store successful by balancing operational excellence with outstanding customer service. To equip candidates for success, Panda Express provides an intensive Store Management Leadership Training program lasting eight or more weeks, which prepares new managers with essential skills and knowledge about store operations, team leadership, financial management, and guest experience enhancement. This upfront investment in training reflects the company’s commitment to associate growth and long-term success. The role operates in a fast-paced environment where multitasking, critical thinking, and effective communication are paramount. Store Managers must exhibit flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, and be ready to operate within a 50-mile radius of the assigned store. Moreover, managers are expected to uphold food safety standards as reflected by the requirement of Serve Safe certification. This leadership opportunity offers a dynamic career path with growth potential in a supportive and inclusive environment where diversity and equality are respected and fostered.
