Job Description
Panda Express, founded in Glendale, California in 1983, stands as the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States, boasting close to 2,800 locations worldwide. Over the decades, Panda Express has established a reputation for delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences. The company thrives on fostering a culture inspired by family values, where every associate is motivated to improve their lives personally and professionally. Panda Express is committed to its associates' development, offering paid Store Management Leadership Training, mentorship, and a supportive community environment to ensure success at every level.
As a Store Manager at Panda Express, you will oversee the operation of a single restaurant, playing a crucial role in its success. This position requires hiring, managing, and directing a team of associates to meet financial objectives and consistently deliver an outstanding guest experience. Effective leadership in this role ensures the smooth running of daily operations and drives the store to achieve its goals. To prepare for this critical responsibility, the company provides an intensive store leadership training program lasting eight or more weeks, designed to equip new managers with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel.
Joining Panda Express means becoming part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills are valuable assets. This role requires the ability to handle physical demands such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working efficiently in a kitchen environment with heat and noise. Panda Express values diversity and inclusivity, proudly operating as an Equal Opportunity Employer that ensures a fair hiring process and reasonable accommodations when needed. This approach fosters a welcoming workplace where every team member can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the Panda family.
