Panda Express, founded in Glendale, California in 1983, stands as the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States. With close to 2,800 locations worldwide, Panda Express has grown exponentially over the decades while maintaining a strong commitment to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences. The company is dedicated to fostering an organizational culture that inspires its team members to improve their lives both professionally and personally, underpinned by family values and community engagement. Panda Express emphasizes development, support, and mentorship for its employees, proudly cultivating a work environment where associates are treated like family and empowered to succeed.

As an industry leader in quick service restaurants, Panda Express offers a unique career opportunity for experienced leaders who are passionate about managing dynamic teams and driving store success. Joining the store management team means becoming part of a dedicated family that supports your professional growth with comprehensive paid Store Management Leadership Training, ongoing mentorship, and a collaborative community. The role of Store Manager is pivotal, entrusting you with full responsibility for the operation of a single store, including directing associates' activities, meeting financial objectives, and ensuring guests receive exceptional service.

This role demands strong leadership skills, flexibility, and a dedication to creating a positive and efficient store environment. Panda Express invests heavily in preparing new managers through an extensive training program lasting eight or more weeks designed to equip you with everything you need to excel. The training covers store operations, financial oversight, team management, and delivering superior guest experiences. As Store Manager, you will be expected to hire, lead, and develop team members, align store performance with corporate goals, and uphold Panda Express’s high standards of quality, food safety, and customer satisfaction.

Working in fast-paced and demanding conditions, the role requires adaptability, effective communication, and resilience. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in environments with heat and noise. The job also requires the ability to manage conflicts and shifting priorities while maintaining friendly service and operational excellence. This comprehensive support system and challenging environment make it an ideal career for motivated individuals seeking advancement in the hospitality and restaurant industry with a reputable and widely recognized brand.

Panda Express supports equal opportunity employment and values diversity, welcoming applications from candidates of all backgrounds and abilities. The company is committed to compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding accommodations during the hiring process.
