Job Description

Panda Express is a distinguished leader in the American fast-casual dining industry, specializing in American Chinese cuisine. Founded in 1983 in Glendale, California, the company has evolved into the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States, boasting close to 2,800 locations worldwide. Panda Express is dedicated to providing high-quality Asian dining experiences and fostering a workplace culture that encourages professional growth and personal development. The company is proud of its family values and commitment to cultivating a supportive community for all its employees. The inclusive work environment emphasizes equal opportunity and diversity, ensuring all associates feel valued and respected regardless of their background or identity. Panda Express is searching for experienced leaders to join their store management team. This opportunity is designed for individuals who aspire to make a significant impact by managing store operations and leading teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Store Manager at Panda Express, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive operation of a single store. Your responsibilities will include hiring, directing, and managing associates to meet financial objectives and ensure outstanding service standards. You will have a direct influence on the success of your store and the satisfaction of its guests. To equip you for success, Panda Express provides an extensive leadership training program lasting eight or more weeks, which covers all aspects of store management, from operations to team leadership. This training is supported by mentorship and ongoing assistance from the Panda community, an environment that truly cares about your career advancement. The role requires flexibility, including the possibility of relocating to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home and working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours driven by business needs. In addition to operational duties, Store Managers must adhere to food safety standards, including obtaining and maintaining Serve Safe certification. The physical demands of the role include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Panda Express values clear communication, adaptability, and conflict management skills as essential to thriving in this position. The company also complies strictly with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals, thus reinforcing its commitment to accessibility and fairness in the workplace. Joining Panda Express means being part of an organization dedicated to inspiring its employees and making a positive impact on the communities where it operates. Whether you are a seasoned manager or a passionate leader looking to elevate your career, this is an opportunity to grow with a company that values your contribution and supports your journey every step of the way.
