Job Description
Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffeehouse industry, renowned for crafting the world’s finest coffee and fostering meaningful connections through every cup served. As a pioneering coffeehouse chain, Starbucks is committed to creating warm and welcoming environments where people can gather, relax, and enjoy high-quality coffee beverages. The company’s philosophy centers around more than just coffee—it is about creating moments of connection and joy that enhance community life. Founded with values that promote inclusivity, sustainability, and social responsibility, Starbucks has successfully positioned itself as a destination for coffee lovers and an employer of choice.
This opportunity is for a Starbucks Coffeehouse Leader, a role that goes beyond overseeing daily operations to leading a team that embodies the brand’s mission and culture. As a Coffeehouse Leader, you will be responsible for managing a dynamic team that crafts not only excellent coffee but also welcoming experiences for customers. Your leadership will help shape your store’s culture, ensuring that each partner feels supported, motivated, and empowered to deliver exceptional customer service. You will drive your team’s growth and development by coaching, mentoring, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional maturity. This role also involves strategic planning to meet sales goals, operational excellence, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe store environment.
The position requires candidates with strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset suited for a sales-focused environment. Those with retail or customer service management experience or service in the U.S. military will find their backgrounds highly valuable in this role. The ideal candidate is eager to grow personally and professionally, embracing the chance to make a meaningful impact on their team and community. Starbucks supports this aspiration by providing industry-leading benefits, ongoing development opportunities, and a culture that values growth and connection.
The Coffeehouse Leader role is full-time and demands flexibility to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will join a company that offers competitive compensation determined by experience, skills, and location, alongside outstanding benefits that nurture wellbeing and work-life balance. As a Starbucks partner, you will have access to comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options, paid parental leave, vacation, sick leave, holidays, retirement plans, stock programs, tuition assistance, and more. This role provides an exceptional chance to connect with something bigger—building lasting relationships, contributing to a vibrant community space, and growing alongside a global coffee leader.
