Job Description
Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain known for crafting the world’s finest coffee, fostering community connections, and creating meaningful moments through each cup. Starbucks is committed to building a warm and inviting environment where customers can connect and enjoy a premium coffee experience. With a strong emphasis on quality, community, and customer service, Starbucks has become a leader in the coffee industry, operating thousands of stores across the United States and around the world. The company is dedicated not only to its customers but also to its partners (employees), investing in their growth and well-being through comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.
As a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks, you won’t just be managing a business but leading a team that delivers experiences marked by connection and joy. This role challenges you to bring craft and heart into the day-to-day operations of the coffeehouse, creating a space where customers and the broader community feel welcomed and valued. Leadership here means inspiring partners to deliver exceptional service, mentoring and coaching team members, and ensuring operational excellence through effective management of resources and sales strategies.
This full-time role demands flexibility with hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the coffee industry. Starbucks offers competitive pay, which is tailored based on factors such as experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity. Recognizing the critical role of training and development, Starbucks provides a nurturing environment where employees can grow professionally and personally, supported by industry-leading benefits and programs.
Partner benefits include access to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with paid parental leave, paid vacation from date of hire, paid sick time, and paid holidays. Additionally, partners can participate in a 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions, enjoy equity programs such as Bean Stock, and take advantage of educational benefits like 100% tuition coverage through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan in partnership with Arizona State University. The company also offers resources for financial well-being and student loan management, backup care, and compliance with state and local leave laws.
Starbucks is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring diverse talent and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership qualities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in retail or customer service management, or those with U.S. military service. The company values organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to coach and mentor teams with maturity and professionalism. This position offers a rewarding career path in a brand that stands at the forefront of the coffeehouse market, dedicated to excellence, connection, and community impact.
