Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized leader in the coffee industry, known for crafting premium quality coffee and creating meaningful experiences for customers worldwide. Founded in 1971, Starbucks has grown from a single store in Seattle to an international coffeehouse chain that embraces community values and celebrates diverse cultures. Starbucks is not just a coffee retailer; it is a place where customers come to connect, relax, and enjoy expertly brewed beverages prepared with care and precision. Emphasizing sustainability and ethical sourcing, Starbucks continues to innovate while fostering a welcoming atmosphere that prioritizes customer satisfaction and employee growth.

The role of a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks goes beyond managing day-to-day business operations. It involves guiding a team that crafts the world’s finest coffee while creating meaningful customer interactions that spark connection and joy. As a coffeehouse leader, you will be responsible for cultivating a vibrant and inclusive environment where every customer feels valued and welcomed. This leadership position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills along with the ability to problem-solve dynamically in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. You will mentor and coach team members, fostering their development and encouraging professional maturity and teamwork. The role is a perfect match for individuals with an entrepreneurial mentality and experience in sales-driven environments, where passion for service excellence and team building drives success.

Employment with Starbucks is typically full-time, demanding over 40 hours per week with flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks offers competitive compensation, though the final base pay depends on factors such as experience, job-related skills, location, and internal equity. This opportunity is ideal for those seeking professional growth in a company that values people, quality, and the community. Starbucks is deeply invested in your development, providing industry-leading benefits and educational opportunities such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, ensuring partners continue to grow both personally and professionally.

Joining Starbucks means becoming part of a supportive and diverse workplace committed to equality and inclusivity. Starbucks embraces applicants from all backgrounds, providing accommodations for disabilities and considering qualified candidates with criminal histories in line with federal, state, and local laws. This role offers a rewarding path for leaders who want to create impact through exceptional coffee experiences and community connection. Here, your leadership will build lasting relationships and foster a coffeehouse culture centered on care, excellence, and continuous learning. If you are passionate about coffee and leadership and want to be part of a forward-thinking company focused on people and purpose, Starbucks welcomes your application to join their esteemed team.
