Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company, renowned globally for its commitment to crafting the world's finest coffee, prides itself on fostering meaningful moments through exceptional coffee experiences. As an industry leader in the specialty coffee sector, Starbucks combines quality, community connection, and innovation to create warm, welcoming spaces where individuals gather to enjoy premium coffee and build lasting relationships. Founded on the vision of inspiring and nurturing the human spirit – one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time – Starbucks continues to grow as a prominent multinational coffeehouse chain known for its ethical sourcing practices, a strong commitment to sustainability, and a dynamic company culture that values diversity, inclusion, and personal growth.

This Coffeehouse Leader role at Starbucks is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of leading crafting experiences that connect people meaningfully through coffee. As a leader in the Starbucks community, you will manage teams focused not just on delivering high-quality products but also on creating a warm environment where every customer feels valued. This leadership role demands not only operational expertise but also emotional intelligence and professional maturity, as you coach and mentor team partners to foster an engaging and collaborative workplace culture.

The role offers a full-time position with the expectation of working variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of Starbucks stores. Although the exact salary will depend on experience, knowledge, location, and internal equity, Starbucks provides competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to support partners' well-being, development, and financial future.

At Starbucks, the Coffeehouse Leader has an entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills needed in a sales-driven environment. The leader not only drives sales but also champions community engagement and cultivates connections within each store's neighborhood. This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and welcomes candidates with a rich background including leadership in retail or customer service management or even the valuable experience gained from serving in the US Military.

Starbucks places immense value on your personal growth journey and offers a range of developmental experiences, educational opportunities including 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor's degree through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan in partnership with Arizona State University, and a comprehensive suite of industry-leading benefits. These benefits encompass broad health coverage, retirement plans with employer match, paid parental leave, vacation and sick time accruals, and additional financial well-being tools. Joining Starbucks means becoming part of a company that is deeply committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and providing reasonable accommodations to all applicants and partners.

Joining Starbucks as a Coffeehouse Leader means embracing a role where passion for coffee meets a purpose-driven leadership opportunity. The position blends operational responsibility with a mission to craft not just beverages but meaningful experiences each day. If you are passionate about leadership, community connection, and personal growth in a vibrant and supportive environment, Starbucks welcomes you to apply and be a part of something bigger.
