Job Description

Starbucks Coffee Company is globally recognized as a premier coffeehouse chain dedicated to crafting the world's finest coffee and creating meaningful moments for its customers. Founded on principles of community, quality, and inclusivity, Starbucks has become a leader in the retail coffee industry, known for its innovative beverage offerings, welcoming store environments, and commitment to sustainability. It operates thousands of stores worldwide, consistently striving to foster a warm and inviting space where every cup of coffee sparks connection across people from diverse backgrounds. Starbucks doesn’t just sell coffee; it builds relationships and cultivates a culture of respect and mutual growth among its partners (employees) and customers.

As a coffeehouse leader at Starbucks, your role transcends traditional management responsibilities. You are entrusted with leading a dynamic team that delivers exceptional service and creates moments of connection and joy within the community. This role requires a blend of strong leadership skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep passion for the craft of coffee-making. You will be at the forefront of ensuring operational excellence, fostering a collaborative team environment, and driving sales goals in a customer-focused retail setting.

This full-time position demands an individual who is adaptable and willing to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the natural ebb and flow of the business. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring team partners with professional maturity and guiding them to achieve their best. Starbucks values a growth mindset and supports continuous development through extensive training, leadership opportunities, and industry-leading benefits aimed at promoting work-life balance and personal well-being.

Starbucks takes pride in investing in its partners’ growth journeys, offering a comprehensive benefits package that supports their health, education, and financial stability. As a partner, you and your family will have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, along with life insurance options and disability coverage. Educational benefits include 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program as part of the Starbucks College Achievement Plan. Additional perks like paid parental leave, paid vacation from the date of hire, sick time accrual, and paid holidays reinforce Starbucks’ commitment to partner care and development.

If you are passionate about leading with craft and heart while creating a vibrant and welcoming community hub, this role offers a unique opportunity to connect with something bigger. At Starbucks, your expertise will not only drive business success but also contribute to a workplace culture where people, quality, and value mean everything. Join Starbucks and help shape the future of coffeehouse leadership as a place where individuals grow, thrive, and make meaningful impacts every day.
